During the annual thanksgiving festival the Oba of Benin dresses in his ceremonial beads and clothing.  This is a representation of that dress and occasion.  This beautiful piece stands almost 20 inches tall and weighs 4.8 pounds.  The piece stands on its own.  The standing Oba is crafted from local hardwood.
