This statue represents the duality of people - the saint and the sinner - or good and bad - or ying and yang. 

According to the artist:

"The double face of men in the world is intriguing mostly amongst the ruling class churches and mosques. 

Men profess sainthood only when it is convenient or profitable to do so, therefore the saint and sinner mask represents the two faces men may portray in life."

The mask was carefully made of hardwoods and is 18 inches tall, 6 wide and weighs just over 2 pounds.  It is designed to hang on the wall.
