I would like to introduce you to Pius Uwesuyi.  He is a master carver from Benin City, Nigeria.  He has been carving in wood for 18 years.   

Pius feels he has been endowed with a gift from God.  His skills were honed during a 4 year apprenticeship as a young man, and he has been working as a carver ever since.  He is inspired by nature and humanity.  He describes his style as “Umque”.
